HOW TO COOK PREPARED, SIMPLE AND DELICIOUS HUE BEEF Noodles AT HOME

Hue beef noodle soup is known as one of the 50 most delicious dishes in the world. To prepare a delicious bowl of this specialty, you need a variety of ingredients. Ingredients

  • 500g of beef brisket
  • 200g of rice vermicelli noodles
  • 2 liters of water
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons of fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of shrimp paste
  • Fresh herbs (mint, cilantro, basil)
  • Lime wedges
  • Instructions

    • Boil the beef brisket in 2 liters of water for about 30 minutes or until tender. Remove the beef and slice it thinly.
    • Cook the rice vermicelli noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
    • In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and minced garlic. Saute until fragrant.
    • Add the sliced beef to the pot and stir-fry for a few minutes.
    • Season with fish sauce, salt, sugar, and shrimp paste. Stir well.
    • Pour in the beef broth (the one used to boil the beef) and bring to a boil.
    • Simmer the soup for about 15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
    • To serve, place a portion of cooked rice vermicelli noodles into a bowl.
    • Ladle the hot beef soup over the noodles.
    • Garnish with fresh herbs and a lime wedge.
